ROMAN EGYPTIAN ALABASTER CINERARY URN 1st century BC - 1st century AD height cm 48,5 (cm 61,5 with Iron stand); diam. cm 16 Very elegant and rare Egyptian Alabaster Urn, characterized by an apodous tapering body, double handled, a narrow shoulder and a flat contoured rim. Intact; the dome-shaped lid maybe is subsequent. Provenance: English private collection, before 1980s with the Messner family, Nuremberg.
