Antonio Tempesta (1555-1630) Lot of four etchings from Ovid's Metamorphosis series, 1606 Etching c. 13 x 17,5 cm each. Four engravings from Ovid's Metamorphoses series: Cupid throws his arrow at Pluto; Sirens; Ceres gives his chariot to Triptolemus. Bartsch: 683; 684; 687 and 689. Fine impressions with large original margins, printed on laid paper. Sheets glued for the upper edge on cardboard support. Perforated on the left margin. Some slight stains. The titles quoted in brown ink on the reverse, in the antique calligraphy. Very good general conditions.
