English conductor's baton, circa 1900 - Length: 43.5 cm. Weight: 72 g. ebonised wood shaft, the handle engraved with floral motifs, central detail and silver finial. The inscription in the central part reads: ”E. J. BARKER BANDMASTER. BRITHE BAND OF 1ST V..B.E.D.R.A.” Sterling silver, hallmarked.
