A pair of Italian silver candlesticks, Genoa, 1817 - Height x diameter: 30.5 x 14.5 cm. Total weight: 565 g. Circular foot with decorative palmette motif, truncated conical shaft with vertical grooves and bobéche with similar decoration on the underside. Hallmarked with the mark of the ‘Torretta’ in use by the Goldsmiths' Guild of Genoa flanked by the year 1817, silvermith ”G V”.
