Italian solid silver basket, Naples, 1832-72 - Height x width x depth: 8.5 x 24 x 18 cm. Weight: 465 g. oval in shape, the upper rim decorated with ‘cocciolette’, resting on four claw feet. Hallmarked by the guild of goldsmiths of Naples for a silver fineness of 833/1000, mark in use between 1832 and 1872.
