Pair of French solid silver salt cellars, Paris, 18th century - Height x width x depth: 5 x 7.5 x 5 cm. Total gross weight: 255 g approx. Net weight: 125 g approx. oval shaped, resting on four feet, decorated with garlands and floral elements. Non-coeval glassware. Hallmarked with French hallmarks in use in the 18th century and later re-hallmarked with the marks used in Paris after 1838 for first standard silver (950/1000).
