The raised, rounded bodies feature repeated foliate motifs. The fitted lids are pierced with scrollwork designs to allow the salt and pepper to pass through. Height x diameter: 8.5 x 3.2 cm. Sterling silver (925/1000), fully hallmarked London 1888–1889, silversmith Charles Stuart Harris. Pair of circular salt shakers decorated with floral and foliate motifs. Height x diameter: 3.4 x 4.9 cm. Sterling silver (925/1000,) fully hallmarked Chester 1901–1902, silversmith Colen Hewer Cheshire (?). Pair of handled bowl-shaped salt shakers. Height x diameter: 5.1 x 5 cm. Sterling silver (925/1000), fully hallmarked Chester, silversmith George Nathan & Ridley Hayes (?) (1895–1915).
