Indian solid silver box, late 19th century - Height x width x depth: 9 x 23 x 23 cm. Weight: 1254 g. Octagonal in shape, embossed and chiselled with the entire surface richly decorated with leaf and scroll motifs, evenly distributed and divided into geometric bands. The hinged lid features the same decorations and a stylised daisy in the centre.
