Corrado Giaquinto (Molfetta, 1703 - Napoli, 1765) Attributed to - Oil on canvas cm. 99x65. Framed The painting may be the model for the successful composition of the large canvas that Giaquinto executed for the Church of Santa Teresa in Turin. Giaquinto produced several versions of this felicitous compositional invention, including the one from the Busiri Vici collection, now housed in the Musée du Louvre in Paris, which is generally considered to be the preparatory sketch (bozzetto) for the altarpiece.
