Lot of 4 silver shawl clips, 19th century - Height x width: 11 x 4 cm each. Total weight 88 g with a structure composed of a series of plates and articulated hooks, embellished with rich floral motifs. Imposing stylised masks emerge from the centre of each section. Intended to embellish corsets, these hooks were a true symbol of identity and status, typically used between the 16th and 19th centuries.
