Sepulchrum C. Baskets... | Holy column led from the temple of Solomon, from 'Speculum Romanae Magnificentiae' - Lot of two plates from the Speculum Romanae Magnificentiae. Engraving, 394 x 290 mm (plate), 495 x 352 mm (sheet), and 455 x 285 mm (plate), 495 x 350 mm (sheet). Both bearing the address of Antonio Lafreri. Well-inked impressions on laid paper, one sheet with a watermark: a ladder within a shield surmounted by a cross. Excellent condition, except for light traces of soiling at the edges.
