Antonio Tempesta (1555 - 1630) - Lot of three etchings from the series “Alexandri Magni praecipuae res gestae”, printed in Amsterdam by Nicolaus Visscher in 1608. Etching, approx. 226 x 290 mm. (each sheet). Fine impressions on thin laid paper with watermark (jester’s hat). Proofs trimmed, in very good overall condition. On the verso of each sheet, collection stamp of Luciana Simonetti (Rome 1917–2003) (Lugt 3616).
