JOSEF CARL KLINKOSCH Solid silver Austrian entrée dish - Vienna, 1867 - circular in shape with a snap-on lid. The lid features a handle representing a rich cluster of leaves and a flower bud. On the sides are two handles richly decorated with scrollwork and leaves. 800/1000 silver, hallmarked with the multifunctional mark used in the city of Vienna from 1867 to 1922 and with the ‘JCK’ mark corresponding to the silversmith J.K. Klinkosch. Waltraud Neuwirth, Wiener Gold und Silberschmiede und ihre punzen 1867-1922. Vol. 1 pag. 295 e Vol. 2 pag. 333. Item condition grading: **** good. The lot is in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time.
