A pair of sterling silver snuffer tray, Europe, 18th - 19th centuries - Height x width x depth: 7.5 x 19.5 x 9 cm. Total weight: 835 g composed of a small, boat-shaped dish with raised edges and curled feet, on which a scissor mechanism is fixed. The central mechanism, which includes the cutting blades and finger housing, features an elaborate geometric decorative pattern.
