Solid silver basket, Germany (?), late 19th century - Height x width x depth: 6 x 34 x 21.5 cm. Weight: 555 g oval in shape with a rich and complex decorative repertoire, made using the casting technique. The edges are decorated with floral motifs, branches and scrolls. The embossed base is decorated with a vivid scene of cherubs in a landscape setting. The object stands on four scroll-shaped feet.
