Carved wooden coin box, Venice, second half of the 16th century - Height x width x depth: 29 x 31 x 20 cm  Finely lacquered and gilded with drop mouldings, painted mother-of-pearl plaques and faux marble columns. It has four drawers on the front, an opening lid with a secret compartment and compartments inside.
