Walking stick with ivory inserts, Italy, 19th century - Height x width: 87 x 4.4 cm The semi-spherical, elongated knob is made of hard stone. Set in the centre, at the top, is a red circular disc depicting the face of a man with curly hair. Below the pommel, at the junction with the body of the stick, are two decorative ivory rings of different sizes.  This lot, accompanied by a CITES certificate and expertise issued by Ce.S.Ar Centro studi archeometici, is only available for sale with shipments within the European Union.
