Ostrich eggs, Europe, 19th century - Height x diameter: 35 x 12 cm. Weight: 710 g mounted on a circular turned wooden base decorated with thin overlapping bands. The upper part is completed by a wooden crown, consisting of overlapping circular elements.  Provenance: Count Luigi Rigi Luperti collection.
