Meissen porcelain sculpture, Austria, second half of 18th century - Height x width x depth: 39 x 20 x 32 cm. Polychrome porcelain figure depicting a horn player beside a tree trunk, wearing brightly decorated rococo-style clothing. Hanging hunting animals and accessories at the base. Very high quality workmanship, probably modeled after a design by Johann Joachim Kändler. Crossed sword mark in blue under base.
