Framed The painting faithfully replicates the large canvas by Giambattista Tiepolo in the church of Sant’Alvise in Venice, of which a bozzetto is preserved in the Gemäldegalerie in Berlin. Another version, possibly executed by the master with the assistance of his workshop, formerly in the Thyssen collection in Madrid, is now housed in the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya.
