Group of two solid silver baskets, mid-20th Century - Total weight: 880 g - oval-shaped centrepiece with a wide, smooth rim, characterised by a tall, opulent openwork rim featuring a richly crafted, mixed-line design with scrollwork and foliage motifs, resting on lion-shaped feet. - circular bowl with a pod-shaped, fluted body divided into large, regular segments, with a beaded and moulded rim, resting on three scroll-shaped feet. 800/1000 silver, hallmarked ”800 - 1 AL”. Height x width x depth I: 6 x 33 x 24 cm; Height x diameter II: 5.5 x 21 cm.
