Vintage Taxco TS-48 Sterling Silver Sand Dollar Pendant - This is a vintage Taxco (TS-48) sterling silver (.925) semi-hollow pendant, circa early-mid 1980's.The pendant is approximately 1.25” diameter, excluding the bail.  It has the raised bas-relief sand dollar design.  The sand dollar has a beaded outline and the appropriate ”dimples”.  The pendant is crafted using 2 sheets of sterling silver and stamping them together after the design has been created.  The pendant has a large bail that can accommodate an approximate 5.5mm wide chain. The hallmark for this pendant is located inside the bail.
