Vintage Turquoise Ring Zin Sun Stamp May Be Pueblo

Setting: .925 Sterling Silver

Main Gemstone: Turquoise w/Black Matrix (polished and/or stabilized)

Size: US 11

Geographic Origin: Undetermined, but appears like a mix of Ithaca Mountain and Kingman*

Designer/Hallmark: A faint hallmark that may have been a "Zia Sun" remains inside the ring, but seems to have been removed as a result of sizing or repair.

This sterling silver ring features three oval-shaped cabochons of blue turquoise with black matrix.  The turquoise stones are bezel-set and measure 8x6mm (center) and 7x5mm. (2-outer) and are polished or stabilized.  Black lacquer or india ink is applied in the recesses around the stones. The ring is 12mm wide and tapers to a 4mm shank and has a solid back.  The ring bears a quality mark "STER." followed by a small "zia sun".  It resembles  Lawrence Dodge or Lewis Lomay.  Admin Code: 12/hhh
