KDS Graduated Diamond Heart Tennis Bracelet 14K - 31100098 Setting: 14K Yellow and White Gold Featured Gemstone: Genuine, Earth-Mined Diamond ---Approximately .33ctw, full-cut, most SI clarity or better, G-I color Length: 6.5” Closure: Hidden Box Clasp and Safety Clip Weight: 9.3g A masterpiece of late-20th-century boutique American bench-work, this exceptionally fluid vintage tennis bracelet features a continuous ribbon of interlocking solid hearts. Stamped by KDS Jewelry Inc.—a highly regarded independent family jeweler formerly operating out of Baldwin, Long Island, New York—this piece offers a rare combination of regional provenance and master-level gem setting completely missing from modern mass-produced jewelry. The bracelet alternates between high-polish solid 14K yellow gold hearts and solid 14K white gold heart settings. The design features a beautifully balanced pattern: triplets of polished yellow gold hearts separate triplets of diamond-set white gold hearts.:Unlike rigid, machine-stamped modern links, the reverse of this bracelet highlights an artisan assembly technique. Each solid heart casting is individually joined by hand-soldered, thick wire O-ring figure-eight links. This meticulous design creates an ultra-flexible drape that molds perfectly to the wrist while eliminating friction points, minimizing long-term wear on the gold. The bracelet is finished with a highly secure integrated box clasp, complete with a traditional safety figure-eight catch and a premium spring tongue. Most of the diamonds exhibit phenomenal cutting precision, with superb proportions and sharp faceting symmetry as in the cutting standards for specialty cuts. They face-up colorless to near-colorless (G-I range)and are in the SI clarity range. True to honest vintage inspection, minor microscopic natural mineral inclusions are visible in two stones under 10x magnification. The bracelet is believed to be circa early 1980's. Transparency Note: One individual diamond exhibits an old, stable surface shear/cleavage line along a natural crystal plane. This minor characteristic does not compromise the stone's stability within its setting and serves as a testament to the genuine, untouched vintage life of the piece. See more information below.
