ART OF COOKERY - Art of Cookery, by Domingos Rodrigues, was Master of the Portuguese royal kitchen. It is the first cookbook published in Portugal, originally printed in Lisbon in 1693. The book is structured in three distinct parts: First part: Explains how to cook meats, preserves, pastries, tarts, and pies. Third part: Deals with the organization of banquets, etiquette, and table service in the foreign style. This third edition was dedicated to the Count of Vimioso. Paperback binding.
