Dimensions: paper 58x79 cm. Note: engraving in good condition, never framed and of imposing dimensions. Piazza Navona is one of the most important squares in Rome. Its shape resembles that of the ancient stadiums of Ancient Rome. Piranesi was a famous Italian engraver and architect. He particularly appreciated perspective. Piranesi's drawings and engravings reveal great talent in combining dramatic perspectives with scathing Mannerist and deeply neoclassical architecture.
