PAIR OF PASTORAL SCULPTURES IN ITALIAN CAPODIMONTE PORCELAIN - ESTER BASSANO LINE - Elegant set of two figurative sculptures in exceptionally high-quality Italian fine porcelain, depicting a classic pastoral scene with a young man and woman in a rural setting. Both pieces display a double authenticity mark: the prestigious ”N” mark under a five-pointed Royal crown (historic symbol of the Capodimonte tradition, Naples) painted on the base, in harmony with the manufacturing signature ”Ester” incised directly into the porcelain paste. The figures stand out for their dynamism and expressiveness, with the young people symmetrically positioned on realistic tree trunks. The Rococo bases feature intricate ornamental reliefs and delicate hand-modeled floral applications with a biscuit finish. The pictorial decoration is entirely hand-executed, with a polychromatic palette of soft tones and a matte finish, lending immense visual delicacy to the set.
