ANTIQUE BALUCH NOMADIC RUG - HANDMADE AFGHAN/PERSIAN TRIBAL WOOL PIECE - Vintage rug of Baluch tribal origin, entirely hand-woven from pure wool by nomadic communities from the border region between Afghanistan and ancient Persia. The piece is distinguished by its classic geometric composition, exhibiting a central field structured in deep shades of navy blue and terracotta. The core of the rug is richly ornamented by two imposing central diamond-shaped medallions, whose borders feature decorative hooks and graphic patterns characteristic of Asian folk weaving. The entire composition is framed by a multiple and detailed border with repetitive linear patterns in contrasting shades of cream, orange, and brown, lending excellent chromatic harmony and strong visual appeal to the piece.
