SCULPTURAL PIECE - Anthropomorphic terracotta bust, frontal composition, elongated head with perforated eyes, marked eyebrows and full lips, flanked by voluminous earflaps or headdress. Holds a small bowl to its chest, while a textured element, like an enveloping necklace, falls over the shoulders; the costume features striated incisions. Reddish terracotta-toned surface, dry patina, with wear, small losses and a visible crack in the neck area. The treatment of volumes and expression may refer to West African sculptural traditions.
