STATUETTE - Vertical figurative sculpture in wood, with an elongated and cylindrical body, topped by a stylized head with a superior crest and geometric volumes on the face. On the torso, a serpentine element in relief and a ring at the neck level are observed, reinforcing the totemic reading of the composition. Surface with marked patina, traces of reddish pigment and ochres, generalized wear and accentuated losses at the base. Presents characteristics that may refer to sculptural traditions of West Africa.
