MASK - Wooden mask, of elongated oval shape, with an irregular whitish patina and discreet signs of use. Narrow slit eyes, emphasized eyebrows, small mouth and a vertical marker on the forehead; chin with a slight notch. At the top, a voluminous dark-toned coiffure, with a wavy outline, reinforces the volumes of the face. The contained expression and chromatic contrast may refer to Central African traditions, approaching typologies of white masks. Presented on an exhibition base.
