SCULPTURAL PIECE - Anthropomorphic figure with outstretched arms, in wood with applications. The broad, almost heart-shaped head features elongated eyes, stylized nose and mouth, with a grid of incisions on the face that extends in vertical registers down the torso. Solid legs end in feet with marked toes; brownish patina with ochre nuances and traces of handling. The applications on the neck and waist, with pendants, accentuate the verticality of the piece. It presents characteristics that may refer to traditions from Central Africa.
