MASK - Oval-shaped mask, made of wood with fibers and fabric, with a whitish facial area contrasting with the darkened wood. Slit eyes, subtle nose, and a small rectangular mouth opening; fine perforations mark the hairline and chin. A fringe of fiber cords is attached to the lower edge, adding volume and movement. Heterogeneous patina, with wear, cracks, and minor losses, exhibiting characteristics that may point to productions from Central Africa, possibly related to the Congo region.
