MASK - Wooden mask, oval-shaped and with a frontal construction, topped by a dome and with a small lower appendage. Strongly geometricized physiognomy: a prominent block-like nose, annular eyes, a hollow rhomboidal mouth, and a peripheral frieze of raised dots, crossed by horizontal bands. Surface with dark patina, contrasted by light areas that highlight the design. Exhibits characteristics that may refer to formal traditions of West Africa.
