ANATOLIAN TRIBAL RUG ”YASTIK” - WOOL ON WOOL (0.51 m²) - Antique Turkish tribal rug of the yastik type (Central Anatolia), hand-woven in wool on a wool foundation. The piece features a deep indigo blue central field, decorated with a prominent red-purple hexagonal medallion and stepped geometric motifs with hooks. The side bands display a rich palette of ochre, terracotta, and cream tones, bordered by original wool fringes. A piece of excellent ethnographic character, ideal for collecting or decoration, presenting an authentic patina and good general condition with natural wear consistent with its age.
