(4.08 m²) - Excellent example of a handmade Oriental Persian rug, wool on wool foundation, from the prestigious nomadic traditions of the Fars region. The piece features a central field in a vibrant wine-red hue, richly decorated with three imposing superimposed polygonal medallions, stepped in indigo blue, brownish fuchsia, and ivory, flanked by profuse geometric ornamentation with zoomorphic motifs and tribal floral stylizations. The main border is finely structured by multiple decorative bands and sawteeth, ending in discreet cotton fringes at the ends.
