ZOOMORPHIC SCULPTURE - Piece in various materials, with a sinuous profile, combining a natural horn with a densely carved openwork mesh final element. At the end, zoomorphic figures in relief—reptiles and fish—are seen, with marked volumes, rough texture, and dark patina on the prominent edges. The horn is partially covered by polychrome beads in a zigzag pattern, finished with a small fringe of beads. The combination of openwork sculpture with beadwork may refer to sculptural traditions of West Africa, a hypothesis that cannot be confirmed by photographs alone.
