BUST - Anthropomorphic wooden sculpture with appliques, conceived as a frontal bust of compact volume, with lowered arms and defined breasts. The elongated head exhibits a conical headdress with an incised band, a face furrowed by vertical incisions, half-closed eyes, and a rounded, half-open mouth; a neck with an applied ring and lateral metallic elements. Dark patina with wear, fissures, and traces of reddish and greenish pigments, lending a strong sculptural presence. The combination of facial furrows, ringed neck, and frontality may stylistically approximate sculptural traditions of Central Africa, a hypothesis that cannot be confirmed solely by photographs.
