MASK - Anthropomorphic mask executed in various materials, with an oval face, half-closed eyes, and an elliptical mouth with suggested teeth; ocher-toned surface, with a smooth patina and discreet traces of use. Incised scarifications on the forehead and cheeks, pierced ears with a multi-colored bead, and abundant braided fiber hair, extended by a woven collar. Due to its morphology, hairstyle, and cruciform motif on the forehead, it may resemble the Chokwe sculptural tradition; the attribution cannot be confirmed by photographs alone. Mounted on a metal display base.
