Bidspirit auction | FELINE FIGURE

FELINE FIGURE - Zoomorphic terracotta figure representing a feline with a compact body, on all fours, with an open cavity on its back. The surface is entirely worked with perforated concentric circles evoking spotted fur; expressive head with almond-shaped eyes, prominent snout and vibrissae incisions, erect ears, and a small tail. Grayish-brown tones with a homogeneous patina and discreet signs of wear at the extremities, which emphasize the texture and modeling.
