MASK - Wooden mask with fibers and fabric, with an elongated oval face and pointed chin, half-closed eyes and a small mouth. Surface with marked patina and large whitish areas contrasted with the dark tone, exhibiting incised and dotted scarifications on the forehead and cheeks. Voluminous hairstyle in braids of fibers and fabric, with pending side strands. Due to the combination of the lightened face, half-closed eyes, and elaborate hairstyle, it may be close to the sculptural tradition of Gabon (Punu/Lumbo), a hypothesis not confirmable by photographs alone.
