ANTHROPOMORPHIC FIGURE - Anthropomorphic figure on a braided circular base, made of various materials. Cylindrical body with dark coating, voluminous headdress and skirt with multiple orange rows; arms defined by brownish and bluish spheroid segments, with white oval elements on the periphery. Contrasting textures, compact volumes and irregular patina give an expressive presence. Due to the rectangular face, the profusion of rows and the applied elements, it may be close to the sculptural tradition of the Namji/Grassfields; a merely stylistic hypothesis, not confirmable by photographs alone.
