ANTHROPOMORPHIC SCULPTURE - Figure with an ovoid scutelloid body, with a serrated border and a central relief rhombus, surmounted by a stem with a small head of stylized features, almond-shaped eyes, and a striated conical hairstyle. Surface in reddish-brown tones, with polished patina and discreet circular protrusions that accentuate the relief; mounted on a base. Executed in diverse materials. The combination of the anthropomorphized shield and geometric motifs may refer to a Central African sculptural tradition, a hypothesis that cannot be confirmed by photographs alone.
