ANTHROPOMORPHIC PLAQUE - Sculpture of a stylized face in various materials, composed of a vertical plaque with an arched top featuring fine regular striations and an axial crest, applied discoidal eyes, and a small central pointed element. The carved handle extends downwards, with a marked patina, cracks, and signs of use; subtly serrated edges and an upper protrusion complete the silhouette. Presented resting on a rolled red fabric. Due to its plaque composition, ocular discs, and central crest, it may be close to the sculptural tradition of West African plaque masks, a hypothesis that cannot be confirmed by photographs alone.
