ARCHED SCULPTURE - Sculptural piece in diverse materials, composed of a tall, curved, tapered element, entirely engraved with geometric patterns and repeated oval masks, in a honey tone over a darkened background. It rests on a cylindrical base with an oval plinth, worked with small human figures in relief, lending movement and a narrative reading, with a dense patina. The repetition of masks and the presence of miniatures on the plinth may refer to the sculptural tradition of West Africa, a hypothesis that cannot be confirmed by photographs alone.
