MASK - Wooden mask with a very elongated face, with a bulging forehead, a central crest, and slit eyes. The narrow nose extends in an edge to the small, half-closed mouth. A raised rim frames the face, accompanied by discreet lateral incisions. The surface shows whitish areas, darkened areas, and wear. The facial elongation, the treatment of the nose, and the raised contour may associate the piece with the Fang sculptural tradition, specifically the Ngil typology, without allowing confirmation of this attribution solely by photographs.
