HEAD - Head in metal alloy, with full volume and a cylindrical neck, featuring fine vertical striations on the face, almond-shaped eyes, and a discreetly open mouth; regular perforations appear around the lips and at the base. The headdress, with a semicircular brim, supports a tall, twisted finial, connected by an element with volutes in relief. Dark patina with greenish reactions marks the surface and the reliefs. Due to the striated facial treatment and the serenity of its proportions, it may be associated with the sculptural tradition of Ife, a hypothesis not confirmable solely by photographs.
