Bidspirit auction | MODERN WOOL GABBEH RUG

MODERN WOOL GABBEH RUG - Modern Gabbeh style living room rug, of oriental origin and entirely hand-woven on a traditional loom. The piece features a robust and highly durable structure, characterized by a high, dense and extremely soft pile, made of pure natural wool yarn on a cotton base. The design stands out for its elegant minimalism, displaying a wide central textured field in a fog-gray tone with subtle organic chromatic variations (abrash). This background is framed by a wide contrasting pastel blue border, enriched with discreet polychrome geometric motifs of tribal inspiration, symmetrically arranged.
