MATERNITY - Seated female figure in wood, with dark patina and polished areas. Geometrized facial features with incisions suggesting scarification, almond-shaped eyes, and an elevated crest hairstyle; long arms descend along the torso, holding a child lying on her lap. Compact structure and marked frontality, with an integrated bench and angular volumes. It presents characteristics that may allude to Central African traditions, possibly related to Luba/Chokwe universes.
