POLYCHROME SCULPTURE - Vertical wooden sculpture, with axial composition: upper disc with a stylized face, concentric eyes, and a prominent central appendage, connected by openwork elements to a densely engraved rectangular panel. Surface worked in relief and painted black over the natural tone, with serrated friezes, spirals, triangles, and a zoomorphic figure in profile; ending in a lower hook extension. Matte patina and strong chromatic contrast. It presents characteristics that may allude to West African plank mask traditions, possibly related to the Bwa/Nuna, due to the vertical scheme, the facial disc, and the black and light geometric motifs.
